  You won't want to miss our monthly membership meeting, Saturday, Oct. 8, as we begin our final push in the most consequential midterm election in memory.
  
  The stakes are enormous:
  -- Derailing DeSantis
  -- Removing Rubio
  -- Saving Social Security
  -- Restoring Reproductive Rights
  -- Defending Democracy
  
  We must keep control of the U.S. Senate and House, or watch Republicans unravel President Biden's agenda -- and continue to undermine free and fair elections, and the rights of everyone they have targeted.
  
  We're enlisting speakers to call out those threats and inspire us to take concrete actions through Election Day to ensure we prevail.
  
  We'll rally at our usual time and place, beginning at 9:30 a.m., inside Colony Cottage Recreation Center.
  
  We're working on appearances by Val Demings and Charlie Crist, among others.
