    Social Time: 12:30 --- Meeting Starts: 1:00

    Focus: 2024 Election

    This meeting will focus on the 2024 Election Strategy and Plans for the Club. Candidates for the 2024 Election have been invited to speak including Barbie Hall, who is running against Daniel Webster for U.S. House District 11). There will be an update and discussion led by one our Cabinet Members who is following what is happening in this state legislative session (Sara Reagen). We will continue our discussion on Healthcare with Kofi Hunt, Organizing Director of Florida Decides Healthcare. As usual, we will (optionally) go to lunch afterwards.

    IMPORTANT NOTE: Changed Date and Time for March Meeting

    The next meeting will be on the fourth Saturday of the month due to Moyer being used for the Presidential Preference Poll. The meeting will now be on Saturday, March 23 in the afternoon. Doors open at 12:30 pm. Meeting will start at 1:00 pm. Since this will be during lunch, we are asking members and others to bring food to share. A signup sheet will be sent to members and other attendees 2 weeks before the meeting. The topic for the meeting is “Crime in the Villages and What to Do if You Are a Victim”. Speakers will be from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.
