** An update on the GOP's threat to our economy, Social Security, and Medicare. GOP lawmakers say they will not approve raising the federal debt ceiling without significant cuts to Social Security and Medicare. ** A Villager who co-founded a Florida grassroots campaign for Death With Dignity.  Kate Parker will be our featured speaker, on the Sunshine State movement to enact end-of-life laws similar to those in nine other states and the District of Columbia.
