Join us in Giving Thanks by participating in our sign-holding roadside rallies across The Villages on the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. Will you have family in town? Bring them with you and create new memories as you stand up for Democracy. You'll feel better for doing so. We are Giving Thanks for our tradition of nearly 250 years of American Democracy, Free Speech, Liberty, and Justice for All. We will not be silent as our Democracy is being dismantled.

Rallies will be held concurrently for just one hour at five sites across The Villages. Join a rally near you:

• Rally 1: US-441 N near La Plaza Grande Shopping Center & the Golf Cart Bridge (both sides of 441)
• Rally 2: CR-466 near Laurel Manor Rec Ctr
• Rally 3: CR-466A near Sarasota Golf Course & Colony Cottage Rec Ctr (both sides of 466A)
• Rally 4: SR-44 near Rohan Rec Ctr & Chitty Chatty Bridge
• Rally 5: Marsh Bend Trail/Warm Springs Ave intersection near Everglades Rec Ctr (both sides of Marsh Bend) We’re still working on the map to make it more interactive. Click on the map to see more details as they are added.

Making Plans

• Arrive ~ 9:30-9:45 a.m. to get a good spot.

• You can get to each site by car or golf cart; park in public lots and walk to the rally sites.

• There is limited space for golf carts near the street at every Rally site except #4 (Rohan/ Chitty Chatty).

• Watch for American flags, which will direct you to where you can stand or sit. 

• Bring your own signs; extra posters and American flags will be available onsite.

• Bring water and a chair, if needed.

• While not required, we request that you please sign up here so that we will know how many to expect.

• Bring a friend or two.
